List of recommended components
While working on creating the documents necessary for the correct functioning of the Factory Production Inspections we came across many different materials, both well-known as well as new and completely unheard of.
Wanting to make coherent the knowledge concerning these components used in the manufacture of sealed glass units, we asked all the producers for information and test results.
The decision to use some of them was clear, others were more thought provoking and provoked us to seek an explanation of what they were being used for.
We decided to draw up a list of recommended products.
During this work, it became clear that because there existed a group of products hitherto unknown to us, we extended the original list and every named article was given a symbol whose meaning is explained below:
Placing the 
next to a product means we possess a copy of the documents – test certification reports etc., which enable us to recommend a product for use.
The 
symbol informs that we are not in possession of such documentation and we are waiting for producers and suppliers to provide them.
The 
symbol testifies that the material does not meet the requirements set for sealed glass unit production, or even if it does possess the necessary positive test results, we have heard negative opinions about the material on the market.
None of these symbols is added in perpetuity and inextricably assigned to the product named. We expect producers and suppliers will want to improve our knowledge, remove any doubts we may have and supply us with the necessary documentation, or explain any unflattering opinions so that alongside every entry we can display this symbol: .
