Business cluster established
On August 23, 2012 the PSB Association, Koszalin Chamber of Trade and Industry, Poznań Polytechnic and six companies signed an agreement on mutual collaboration and cooperation. The initiative was supported by the Vicemarshal of the Wielkopolski Region, Leszek Wojtasiak, as well as the Vicemarshal of the Zachodniopomorski Region, Andrzej Jakubowski.The project coordinator is the Architectural Glass Processors Association, which bz taking up this fresh challenge hopes to more effectively support entrepreneurs. Cluster initiatives have become a key element in microeconomic policies, encompassing industrial and regional policies, the small and medium-sized business sectors as well as research and innovation policies.
The activities of a business cluster is to create a forum for understanding and cooperation, not only among business-people, but also with local government and academic-research facilities. They constitute one of the elements of a regional development strategy and as such can count on support from local government.
We hope that by expanding collaboration it will be possible to effectively carry out new, innnovative projects.
